Home Heating Program FAQ

Avenir Energy is the official propane provider for the CANEX Home Heating Program. As a proudly Canadian-operated company, Avenir delivers safe, reliable propane service coast-to-coast, with a strong focus on customer care and community support. 

The following brands support the CANEX Home Heating Oil Program: Island Petroleum, Ultramar, Bluewave Energy and Columbia Fuels.

Eligible customers receive an 8¢ per litre discount off the regular delivered price of propane. This exclusive offer is available to Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, civilian DND or NPF employees, and RCMP members with a valid CFOne card.   In addition, Avenir Energy offers up to $350 in discounts on propane furnaces, boilers, and water heaters through the CANEX Home Heating Program. *  *Equipment supply and installation may vary by location. Please check with your local branch.
